First hello
Add a short note about where it all began.
Saturday 1 August 2026
Kingsfield Barn, Linlithgow
We can't wait to celebrate with you.
Welcome
We are so glad you will be part of our wedding celebrations. This site will grow as the final details are confirmed, but it already has the essentials: timings, travel notes, accommodation ideas, ceilidh guidance, Q&A, and RSVP details.
Please RSVP by 30 June 2026 so we can finalise numbers and make sure everyone is looked after.
Our Story
This is the place for Ross and Alan's story: how they met, the moments that made things feel right, the trips and traditions that became theirs, and the proposal story guests will want to hear.
Add a short note about where it all began.
Add a couple of places, memories, or shared rituals.
Add the proposal story and a detail that feels like you.
Photos
These are temporary placeholder images. Later, swap them for photos of you both, the venue, or moments you want guests to see.
Schedule
Final timings will be confirmed closer to the day. For now, this gives everyone a sense of the flow from ceremony to ceilidh.
Arrive, settle in, and say hello before the ceremony begins.
Ross and Alan make things official at Kingsfield Barn.
A relaxed drinks reception with photos and time to catch up.
Dinner, conversation, and a proper chance to enjoy the barn.
Toasts, stories, and thank-yous from the wedding party.
Evening guests arrive and the party moves into full swing.
The caller will guide everyone, so just bring your energy.
Final drinks, farewells, and taxis home.
Ceilidh Dancing
There will be ceilidh dancing in the evening, and absolutely no one is expected to know the steps. A caller will explain each dance, the band will keep everyone moving, and it is completely normal for the first round to be more laughter than precision.
Each dance will be explained before it starts.
Choose shoes you can stand and spin in.
Join every dance, sit one out, or cheer from the side.
Where to Stay
August is a busy time in Scotland, so we recommend booking early. These are placeholders for nearby options and can be replaced with specific hotel links once confirmed.
Good for guests who want to stay close to the venue and town.
Useful for groups, families, or anyone making a weekend of it.
More choice, with onward travel to Linlithgow to plan ahead.
